Saint Tropez

Saint-Tropez is a town on the French Riviera, part of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region in the southeast of France. Always a destination for artists, in the 60s it was frequented by the international jet set, and is still known for its beaches and nightlife. The cobbled district of La Ponche testifies to its past as a fishing village, although today the Vieux Port (the old port) is more crowded with yachts than fishing boats.
