Porto Vecchio

Porto Vecchio is a port village of Corsica. The walls of the Genoese citadel of the 16th century are the backdrop to the old town and offer views of the marina crowded with yachts. Shops, bars and restaurants overlook the narrow streets and the main square, Place de la République. Among the famous beaches in the surroundings are worth mentioning that of Palombaggia, bordered by a pine forest, and that of Santa Giulia, similar to a lagoon.
