Lake Como

Lake Como, in Lombardy, is a luxury tourist area famous for its spectacular landscape at the foot of the Prealps. The shape of the pelvis is reminiscent of an upside-down “Y”, with three thin branches converging at Bellagio. At the bottom of the south-western one is located Como, known for examples of Renaissance architecture and for a funicular that goes up to the mountain resort of Brunate.
