Kitzbühel

Kitzbuehel is a small alpine town east of Innsbruck, in Tyrol, the western province of Austria. It is a much-loved ski resort, known for the Hahnenkamm race. The streets of the medieval center are full of cafes and luxury shops. The Kitzbuehel Museum traces the history of the city and winter sports in the area, with paintings by local artist Alfons Walde. The panoramic terrace of the museum offers panoramic views of the city.
